The Chod and Hinged Stiff Carp Rigs are designed for use with Pop up boilies and when fishing over "chod" leaves, shallow weed etc. They are essentially a way of presenting a pop up bait close to the bottom. The stiff Chod Filament can be shaped to a gentle curve to give you the optimum hook position. These rigs are self resetting should you suffer an aborted take.
These rigs are effective all year however in Autumn, Winter and Spring they seem most effective.
